CHANGEDOCUMENT_DISPLAY_LOAN - Change Documents for the Loan

Functionality

This function module replaces the standardized display of change documents in the function module CHANGEDOCUMENT_DISPLAY.

The following changes have been added to the Standard:

1. The individual components in the Table Key column are now separated by semi-colons to provide a better display of the individual key fields.
2. In the additional Breakdown of Table Keyscolumn, these components are listed with short name of the corresponding data element. When you define the layout for the display, you can decide which of the columns are to be displayed or can choose to display both columns.
3. The two additional columns Description of Old Value and Description of New Value contain explanations of the entries in the columns Old Value and New Value. However, this only applies to the table fields with data elements containing domains with fixed values or with table relationships (from the check tables) referring to a unique, language-dependent text from a text table.
4. When you delete data records, the system creates and displays a record as a change document for each relevant data field in the structure containing the last current value. These change documents are created as standard for auditing purposes. In this way, the change document display for structures with several data fields become very confusing, particularly when several records from the structure have been deleted. Now you can choose between the condensed display or the complete display using the button in the toolbar. These functions are only made available if required, i.e. if documents from deleted data records have been selected. In this case the button displayed changes according to the display required. When you branch to the Change Documents Displayfrom the application, the system always displays the condensed version with the option of displaying the complete version.
5. Major improvements have been made to system performance.
6. The read documents and the data for the document display are now stored in a buffer. This means that when you display the change documents from the contract and from the relevant collateral and objects in contract management, the system can display the data repeatedly without having to read the data from the database and format it each time.
