CMS_MAP_INS_SRV_CREATE - Create an insurance with optional assignment to Object

Functionality

This function is intended for use by any sub-system that needs to store an insurance policy associated with it.

Pre-conditions:

• The calling sub-system must be identifiable in table TCMS_INS_SYS_A.

• Business partner functions must be customized in CMS IMG.

• Insurance Status and rebate method must be customized in CMS IMG.

Processing: Calls the following API's in sequence - create, set, sysCheck and save.

Also, opens a change document before calling API Save. There is an implicit assumption inside API.Save that a change document is already open.

Notes

Function "cms_map_ins_lnk_srv_assign" may be called later to link an object to an insurace policy.
