CN8_MBT_RFC_COPY_DESTINATION - Copy of an already existing RFC Destination

Functionality

The RFC Destination from import parameter IP_SOURCE_DEST will be copied under a new destination id. The new destination id can be handed over in the import parameter IP_TARGET_DEST or as execution target with the import parameter IP_EXEC_TARGET. If the import parameter IP_EXEC_TARGET is not initial then the destination id will be build by the IP_SOURCE_DEST name from that the last three letters will be replaced by the system role abbreviation (for example for sender system SND). If both import parameters IP_EXEC_TARGET and IP_SOURCE_TARGET will be supplied then the import parameter IP_TARGET_DEST will be ignored.

If the import parameter is valid then a new RFC Destination will be created. There will be also entries created for the tables cnvmbtdest (logical destinaton information), cnvmbtdestvers (version of a destination) and cnvmbtdesthist (history information of the destination).

In case of execution target H (HCM = Human Capital Management) the user name won´t be copied. Because of special requirements the destination id will be created by adding the prefix '_HCM' to the sender destination id.

The function module can also be called to modify an identical or the same destination. To do this fill the import parameter IP_SOURCE_DEST with the destination id of the destination that is up to date. To specify the destination that you want to update you can supply either the import paramater IP_TARGET_DEST with the target destination id or the import parameter ip_exec_target.
