Processing Logic

A value can be assigned automatically to the characteristic PPPI_INPUT_GROUP, if it is preceded by one of the following characteristics in the process instruction:

Preceding characteristic		Value assigend automatically
PPPI_INSPECTION_CHARACTERISTIC		description of the
	inspection characteristic
PPPI_MATERIAL		material number

If the characteristic PPPI_INPUT_GROUP is preceded both by the characteristic PPPI_INSPECTION_CHARACTERISTIC and the characteristic PPPI_MATERIAL in the process instruction, the last one of these characteristics is relevant for automatic value assignment.

If none of the characteristics listed above precedes the characteristic PPPI_INPUT_GROUP in the process instruction, the short description of the process instruction category is assigned it.

Notes

The value of the characteristic PPPI_INSPECTION_CHARACTERISTIC is assigned automatically when you generate process instructions using the generation scope For all inspection characteristics (04).
