COCI_CONFIRM_MATERIAL_MOVEMENT - NOTRANSL: Rückmeldung: Warenbewegung allgemein
TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local Currency PERFORM Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Functionality
You can use this function module as message destination or as a template for creating message destinations to post general goods movements. It supports all movement types possible in the manual entry of goods movements in materials management (transaction MB11).
Interface
The function module calls a general interface for the recording of goods movements. You can provide the data required by the interface as follows:
- If you use this function module as message destination:
- Define all relevant fields of interface structures IMKPF and IMSEG as destination-specific target fields and take over the values from the message.
- You must define field IMKPF-BUDAT at least as a target field and assign it to a message characteristic.
- The additional target fields you define and assign to message characteristics depend on the movement type you want to use. To get an idea of the relevant fields for the different movement types, use transaction SM30 to call view V_156B. If necessary, contact your MM consultant to find out which fields are important for your process messages.
- If you use this function module as a template for creating your own message destinations:
- In this case, you can transfer some of the data relevant to structures IMKPF and IMSEG using the message and determine some of the data by adding lines to the source code. For an example, refer to the following function modules:
- COCI_CONFIRM_MATERIAL_PROD
- COCI_CONFIRM_MATERIAL_CONS
Customizing Settings
The function module is contained in the standard system but is not defined as message destination. It serves to help those customers who want to post goods movements using process messages that are not defined for this purpose in the standard system.
To be able to use this function module for process messages, you must carry out the following Customizing steps in the relevant plant:
- You must create a corresponding message destination and its destination-specific target fields for the function module (see section Interface).
- You must assign the destination to the message category for goods movements and then assign the characteristics of this category to the destination-specific target fields.
Example
Notes
The standard message categories for goods movements (PI_PROD and PI_CONS) do not contain all characteristics required for the different movement types. If necessary, define missing characteristics yourself and assign them to the standard messages or to a new message category you have created.
