Functionality
You can use this function module to determine the relevant business partner for an assigned user and to change its central data, the standard address and the communication data assigned to the standard address. User and business partner must be linked via a central person.
You can use the optional parameters IS_ALIAS and/or IS_USERNAME to assign the user. A check is performed to see if the user defined using the input parameters actually exists. If IS_ALIAS and IS_USERNAME are transferred, an additional check is performed to see whether the user name transferred is assigned to the alias transferred.
If no user is assigned, the value entered for the system variable SY-UNAME is read as user.
If no business partner can be found or another error occurs, processing is terminated and an error message is written in export parmater ES_RETURN. In addition, all messages that originate from the BAPIs called, are collected and written in export parameter ET_RETURN.
If a business partner is found and an error occurs whilst the data is being changed, the export parameter ES_RETURN remains initial and the data is written to the database.

You can find more information about the meaning and use of import parameters in the documentation on BAPIs BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE and BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE called up from this function module. You can use the import parameter with the ending _X to control the type of change for import parameters which are identically named except for the ending.
You cannot use this function module to change user master data or to adapt changes in the business partner master data. You can find more information about the relationship between a part of the user master data and the business partner master data, as defined in the context of this function group, in the function module documentation COM_BPUS_USERDATA_PROPOSE.
