COM_BPUS_CONSUMERX_REGISTER - Registration of Consumer who Already Exists

Functionality

You can use this function module to create a user and a central person, who links the user with the consumer, for a business partner who already exists in the system in the role consumer.

Existence Check

Before the user and the central person are created, a check is carried out to verify the existence of the consumer to whom they should be assigned.

All business partners of the business partner category Person, for whom the flag Consumer is set on the tab page Classificat./Times, are defined as consumers. Registration can only go ahead if the business partner found has this flag.

Consumer Data

More business partner roles can be added to the consumer that already exists using import parameter IT_BUSINESSPARTNERROLE. Import parameter IV_BUSINESSPARTNERROLE is obsolete and can no longer be used. If import parameter IV_E_MAIL is filled, the standard address of the consumer or an email address is added, or the email address that already exists is overwritten.

User Data

The value for the import parameter IV_BUPA_READ is set to X, in other words, the master data of the business partner found is read.
