Functionality

You can use this function module to display documents that have been created in the R/3 document management system. For example, you can store your process descriptions in an optical archive and display them in the PI sheet, provided that you have created your archive documents in the R/3 document management system.

To identify a document, the following data must be transferred to the function module in the function call:

  • Document type (parameter DOCUMENT_TYPE)
  • Document name (parameter DOCUMENT)
  • Document part (paramter DOCUMENT_PART)
  • Document version (parameter DOCUMENT_VERSION)

If the specified document exists within document management, the corresponding original is searched for and displayed.
