CRMXIF_IBASE_SAVE - External Interface Installed Base

Functionality
The function module defines the interface of the CRM Server for the CRM installation for external systems.
The interface has been implemented as an adapter for CRM Middleware (XIF) and makes both IDOC processing and processing for XML/SOAP calls available. The corresponding IDOC message type is:
CRMXIF_IBASE_SAVE_M
The interface for the installation functions both as an inbound and outbound interface and is capable of mass processing.

Notes
The interface can be enhanced by APPEND structures in the complex data type CRMXIF_IBASE (in the case of IDOC processing, regeneration of the ALE level is also required): Regeneration of IDOC Interfaces
Communication with CRM takes place via messaging BDocs of the type CRM_IBA_MESSAGE. Technically speaking, the data is mapped in the complex data type CRM_IBA_MESSAGE to the BDOC complex data type CRMXIF_IBASE, which defines the data format of the external interface.
Additional fields in the interface or changes to input- and initial data can be dealt with by creating implementation for the Business Add-In CRMXIF_IBASE_MAP .
