CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE - External Interface Business Partner

Functionality

The function module defines the CRM Online interface for the business partner for external systems.

The interface has been implemented as a CRM Middleware adapter (XIF) and enables IDoc processing and processing for XML/SOAP calls.

The business partner interface functions as an inbound and outbound interface and is capable of mass data processing.

The relevant IDoc message type is: CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M

The Test Report CRMXIF_PARTNER_TEST exists for creating sample data for this interface.

Notes

Communication with the CRM takes place via messaging BDocs of the type BUPA_MAIN. Technically speaking, data in the BDoc complex data type BUS_EI_EXTERN is mapped to the complex data type CRMXIF_PARTNER_COMPLEX that defines the data format for the external interface.

The interface can be extended by APPEND structures in the complex data type CRMXIF_PARTNER_COMPLEX (additional regeneration of the ALE level is required in the case of IDoc processing). See Extensions for additional details.

You can fill out and process the additional fields in the interface or make changes to inbound- and outbound data by implementing the BADI Extension CRMXIF_PARTNER_MAP.
