CRM_ATP_SIMULATION - Simulation for actual ATP and store situation (PIPE)

Functionality

This function module was created for ATP simulation of E-Commerce (Web shop) for in-store pickup. For availability simulation the ATP controller in ERP is called directly to return the available quantities of the articles for the current date.

As the check shall give a realtime picture of the current situation, the available checking rule 'B' is used by default and can be overwritten by the called BAdI. The rule should not take into account future incoming orders and thus should also exclude current open purchase orders.

Selected ATP quantities can be recalculated within the called BAdI, such as POS sales figures (PIPE) realized as the default implementation. The resulting availability quantities are in the base unit and are recalculated to the given (order) unit.

This function module is called from CRM via the function module WEC_ATP_SIMULATION.

Example

A web shop user wants to pick up goods in a nearby store within the next two hours. With this function module the availability of the goods is checked to only allow orders for stores with enough stock.

Notes

This is the only availability simulation without reservation and without locking.

Simulation is carried out for the maximum quantity. This means that all available quantity is returned and the user must decide about the fulfillment.
