Functionality

This function module gets the service request data from the web and returns a list of service contract items (ET_CONT_ITEM) that could be link to this service request. It returns also an indicator (EV_CONT_DETERM_RESULT) that may have the following values:

  • '',,Service contract determination not required

  • 'A',,A service contract item was automatically assigned to the service Contract item.

  • 'B',,Service contract items returned for selection.

  • 'C' ,, No service contract items found.

If the flag (IV_CHECK_ENTITLEMENT) was set to "X", this function is going to get for each service contract item, the next possible time for the request to be carried out depending on the service level agreement .
