Functionality

An application log is open to collect error messages (that is, created depending on situation, imported or made for a current log).

The following options exist:

  1. During multiple-document processing, a log is opened that collects messages that are not yet assigned to a specific document.
  2. A log is opened when processing a single document. If a main log exists, the function module then makes a reference entry in this.

If the specified log already exists, it becomes the current log. If messages with CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT are collected after this, without a log being specified, they are imported into this current log.

If the log exists on the database, and is not yet in the main memory, the system notes the highest current message number according to the database status.

If the log exists in the main memory, the system also notes the highest current number before calling up the CRM_MESSAGES_REGISTER.
