CRM_PRP_HISTORY_DATA_READ - Read Partner/Product Range History Database Table Records

Functionality

The API CRM_PRP_READ is the central Application Programming Interface (API) for all applications to retrieve ('read') PPR objects from the PPR object buffer tables or from the database (if the requested records are not in the PPR object buffer tables).

The API has optional input parameter tables for PPR header GUIDs (Globally Unique ID) and / or PPR item GUIDs for which data can be requested for retrieval. The PPR objects which are to be retrieved for the specified input header and / or item GUIDs can be submitted in the input parameter table IT_REQUESTED_OBJECTS. This table can be very easily filled with the help of the function module CRM_PRP_SET_REQUESTED_OBJECTS.

If the optional input parameter IV_ENHANCE_RAW_DATA is set equal to TRUE (= 'X'), descriptions for the referenced data (organisational data, business partner / product / validity period references) are retrieved for the language specified with the input parameter IV_LANGUAGE. For performance reasons, the parameter IV_ENHANCE_RAW_DATA has the default value FALSE (= ' ', i. e. no descriptions will be retrieved).

With the optional input parameter IV_RULE_BP_PROD_TS one can specify, if business partners, products and validity period references from the asynchroneous execution of PPR rules are to be retrieved or not. For performance reasons, the default value for this parameter is set to FALSE (= ' ', i. e. no such values will be retrieved).
