Functionality

When you have bills of material made up of main and sub-items with relationships between the main and sub-item, links are made between the request schedule lines of the sub-item and the corresponding request schedule line of the main item. For this, the schedule line GUID (GUID field) of the sub-item of the main item is copied into the field PARENT_SDLN_GUID.

When creating multi-level bills of material via ORDER_API (for example, multi-level configuration), the caller does not yet know the schedule line GUID. The user therefore has to define the above relationship between the schedule lines via the field PARENT_SDLN_HANDLE.

This function module copies the determination of the PARENT_SDLN_GUID from the PARENT_SDLN_HANDLE for cross-item dependency relationships.
