Functionality

With this function module you save to the database the current log that was created by calling the function module CVD1_ACTLOG_NEW_INIT.

If an error occurs when saving the log, the parameter E_FLG_ERROR is set to TRUE. In addition, a corresponding message is displayed or logged in the job log.

The function module does not raise exceptions.

Notes

The messages collected for the current log using the function module CVD1_ACTLOG_COLLECT are saved on the database with the following restrictions:

  • If the value Detail is assigned to the trace level using the environment parameter SRE_DS_TRACE_LEVEL or if an error message was triggered in the program, all collected messages are saved.
  • If the value Standard is assigned to the trace level using the environment parameter SRE_DS_TRACE_LEVEL and no error message is exists, only messages with the trace level Standard are saved.
  • If no messages need to be saved owing to the trace level and contents of the internal message table, the whole log is abandoned.

Saving the whole log to the database is passed on to an update process.
