Functionality

This API is used to change the rfc destinations assigned to a subproject in the migration workbench. The execution is done in synchronous mode.

Reserved namespaces (stored as entries in tables TRNSPACE and TRNSPACET) are read in the sender and receiver system and the corresponding entries in these tables are inserted in the DTL system, if they do not yet exist there. This is needed to later avoid errors when structures are generated in the DTL system. If field names of these structures begin with a namespace prefix, the corresponding namespace must be specified in tables TRNSPACE and TRNSPACET).

Input parameters:

IM_SUBPROJECT
Identifier of the subproject. Required

IM_PACKID
PCL package ID. If this parameter is supplied, the session ID must also be supplied. For these data, it is then checked if the activity is allowed by the PCL status management.

IM_SESSION_ID
PCL session ID. Required.

IT_RFCDEST
rfc settings of the subproject (server(s) of the MWB system, rfc destinatinations of sender and receiver system)

Export parameters:

EX_LOGNUMBER
Application log number

EX_STATUS
Structure containing status information such as a status (running, finished with errors / warnings; success), time stamps for start and end, etc.

Error situations handled by the API:

  • subproject does not yet exist
  • rfc destination cannot be reached
  • MWB modules not yet existing in sender / receiver system
  • rfc call into sender and receiver system to get reserved namespaces failed (communication failure or system failure)
