Functionality

This function module is used to execute eCATT objects.

Executable eCATT objects are:

  • ,,Test configurations

  • ,,Test scripts

The type of execution can be controlled by various import parameters.

DISPLAY_STARTPOPUP / DISPLAY_LOG

  • With parameter DISPLAY_STARTPOPUP you can control whether a screen with various execution options is displayed before the execution. With DISPLAY_LOG you can control whether a log is displayed after the execution.

START_PROFIL

  • The parameter START_PROFIL is used to specify execution options in the program itself if the start screen is not used.

LOG_TXT

  • The parameter LOG_TXT is used to specify a header for the log of the start.

TO_EXECUTE / EXECUTED

  • To use the function module, see the documentation for the passed parameters TO_EXECUTE / EXECUTED.

After execution, various return parameters are available.

LOGID

  • Number of the eCATT log. The log can be displayed by calling function module ECATT_LOG_DISPLAY.

LOGDISPLAYED

  • Information indicating whether the eCATT log was displayed by ECATT_EXECUTE after the eCATT execution (for example, highlighted by setting import parameter DISPLAY_LOG='X')

Note:

The function module does not set SY_SUBRC to document the correct or erroneous execution of an eCATT object. The execution status of eCATT objects is returned in table EXECUTED for each executed object.
