Functionality

This function module implements the simple SAPI interface. You enter it in the DataSource as the extraction function for extracting data from the SAP source system into the SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse system.

This function module performs the following functions:

• Instantiates and initializes the generic extractor class during the initialization call

• Calls the extraction method and returns the extracted records during subsequent calls

• Writes error messages from exceptions to the application log
