Functionality

The function module is called directly before the backorder processing results update. The BOP start time can be used to control whether subsequent manual changes to the backorder processing documents should be overwritten or not.

Since manual changes are given higher priority in the standard system, this can lead to overconfirmations in the availability situation. This situation occurs if several documents claim the same available quantity for their confirmation. This can happen if several documents "exchange" the quantity through backorder processing, but the new confirmation was not adopted by all these documents in the update.

If the backorder processing start time is initialized, this situation can be avoided. Manual changes to the confirmation are then lost.
