Functionality

In the standard SAP R/3 system, the annual bonus is calculated using the Annual bonus calculation report (HMXCAGU0).

In this report, the user has three options for determining the payment basis to be used for the calculation:

  • Daily wage (wage type /305)

  • Integrated daily wage (wage type /300)

  • Averages (particularly in the case of commission agents)

This function module can be used if, when calculating the annual bonus, you want to use a different wage type as a payment basis than the one proposed in the standard system.

Warning

This function module should only be used if the following conditions are met:

  • Standard SAP processes do not meet your needs.

  • You have extensive knowledge of ABAP/4 programming

  • This function module should only be used for the purposes mentioned above. Any other use does not guaranteee correct results within the system.
