Functionality

To calculate Social Insurance conributions, the standard R/3 system uses absences and work incapacities according to the settings in the Implementation Guide, under Payroll Mexico -> Absences -> Absence valuation.

For these calculations, the days worked are extracted from the KSOLL field of the WPBP table. The days used to calculate profit sharing are generated in function MXSI.

When calculating Social Insurance contributions, this function module can be used to determined the days mentioned above in a way different to the method proposed in the standard R/3 system.

Warning

This function module should only be changed if the following conditions are met:

• Standard SAP processes do not meet your requirements.

• You have extensive knowledge of ABAP/4 programming.

• This function module should only be used for the purposes mentionded above. Any other use does not guarantee correct results within the system.
