Functionality

In the standard system, the employee's cost center at the end of the payroll period for payroll payments. In the case of profit sharing, the employee's cost center on the date the profit share payments are made is used.

If the user runs the profit share report (HMXCRUT0) separately by RFC, there is the possibility of specifying a different cost center for each RFC processed. This only makes sense if the last employee cost center in one or more of the RFC processed is different from the employee cost center at the time the profit share payments are made.

Through the function module EXIT_HMXCRT0_002, the user can assign an alternative cost center. The data entered by the user is saved to the infotype record that will contain said payment.

To determine a cost center other than the default cost center, you must enter in this function module the personnel number, the payment date and the RFC no. (Federal Taxpayers Register number) specified in the selection screen of the profit sharing report.

You must bear in mind that to be able to process this function module you must flag the checkbox Calculation by RFC in the selection screen of the HMXCRUT0 report.

Warning

Do not change this function module unless the following conditions are fulfilled:

  • Standard SAP processes do not meet your requirements.

  • You have extensive knowledge of ABAP/4 programming.

  • This function module must only be used for the purposes mentioned above. Any other use does not guarantee correct system results.
