EXIT_RPIEWT00_001 - Supply currency key

Functionality

User exit for tansferring external wage types. Allows you to define a currency (WAERS_C) and a currency key for the number of decimal places (WAERS_X). If the return codes are other than SPACE, the relevant fields are ready for input on the selection screen of the batch input program (RPIEWT00).

If the return codes appear in the corresponding entity tables (WAERS_X -> TCURX and WAERS_C -> TCURC), the input fields are filled with these codes.

Example

You want the amount to have four decimal places when an employee remuneration record is created (i.e. when a batch input is processed).

1. You use this user exit to assign the WAERS_X field a value that is encoded via table TCURX as a currency with four decimal places.
2. Use this value when you maintain a variant for report RPIEWT00. You can use the variant to schedule the background job for the periodic transfer of external wage types (RPIEWT00).

Notes

If the WAERS_C field in the selection screen of report RPIEWT00 is not filled, the default value on the entry screen for the 'Currency' field is copied when the batch input session is processed.
