EXIT_SAPLAMGS_001 - Customer Specific Translation of Asset Values

Functionality

The function module makes it possible to translate the values of an asset in a depreciation area. The translated values are then displayed in Asset Accounting reports that are generated using logical database AD of application A.

The original asset value is transferred to the function module in the I_AMOUNT field. The translated value is to be returned in the E_AMOUNT field. The following are also available to the function module: the currency translation method, the report date and the depreciation area (from the initial screen of the report) and the master data of the asset.
