EXIT_SAPLE10R_003 - User Exit: Device Data Check for Changes to Device

Functionality

You can use this function module in the Create/Change Device transaction to check user entries and, if necessary, to issue an error message.

Example

You want to ensure that the Seal field in the device information record cannot be deleted.

Check the 'X_V_EGER-PLOMBE' field in the enhancement and, if necessary, issue a message with an exception.

Notes

If you want to use the 'Y_ERROR_FIELD' return parameter, ensure that you only use fields from the 'V_EGER' view. You must specify the field name without the table section (for example: 'X_V_EGER-PLOMBE' incorrect -> 'Y_ERROR_FIELD' = 'PLOMBE').
