Functionality

Function module EXIT_SAPLXES55_007 is the OPEN function module for customer enhancement ES550001. This function module opens the dependent object during object enhancement and reads data. Since the structure of the application data is not recognized by development class EE01 (master data), the data cannot be transferred, but is stored in the local memory of the function group. If several instances of an object class are to be processed, a handle (object reference) must be returned to the calling program.
