Functionality

When post-integrating consolidation units or groups, which at first have been created manually in an integrated dimension, the system attempts to determine the associated organizational units of the transactional R/3 applications. To do this, the system interprets the IDs of the EC-CS org units with respect to the combination rules within an integrated type of consolidation, which is used in the current dimension. You can use this function exit to check and adjust the resulting proposals for the organizational units within a cons unit/group.
The parameters passed to the function exit are:

  • I_DIMEN - the dimension, for which the EC-CS org units are to be decoded
  • I_CONTP - the integrated consolidation type, for which the EC-CS org units are to be integrated
  • I_CSORGUN - the category of the EC-CS org units to be analyzed: '1': consolidation unit, '2': consolidation group).
  • I_CONDENSE - the grouping category of the cons group hierarchy. When created consolidation units (CS org unit '1'), the grouping category always is '0' (no grouping). When creating IDs and texts for a cons group hierarchy, the grouping category depends on the consolidation type (see Customizing of combination rules).
  • I_KOKRS - the controlling area, the profit center standard hierarchy of which is being referred to (only applies to integrated cons type '3').
  • T_ORGUNS - the table of EC-CS org units to be decoded, and the respective transaction (or operational) org units determined by the system. The field ERROR in this table is used for sending messages to the system, and receiving messages from the system about missing entries.
    Changes can only be made to the entries in this table, and then passed to the system. You can delete any undesired entries from the table.
