Functionality

You can use this enhancement to determine an employee's age according to various criteria. SAP R/3 reads the employee's date of birth from the Personal Datainfotype (0002) and determines for an exact day the employee's date of birth and age according to your requirements. You can specify the employee's date of birth in the BIRTH_DATE field or the age (in years, months, weeks, and days) in the AGE structure. SAP R/3 calls the enhancement for each entry in the AB table. If an absence spans more than one day, SAP R/3 calls each entry for each day.
