EXIT_SAPLJHA1_006 - IS-M/AM: Check Order Prior to Update

Functionality

This function module is used to perform checks before the sales document is updated.

In contrast to the EXIT_SAPLJHA1_001 customer exit, this exit allows you to display error messages that prevent an order being updated during order dialog. This exit is designed for checks that affect the order as a whole, such as cross-item checks.

Messages that you display in this exit are processed during the PAI event in a module, which is not linked to one or more screen fields using a FIELD or CHAIN instruction. See the documentation for the MESSAGE key word for information on message response. System response during message display means we advise only displaying termination messages ( message type = 'A') or information messages (message type = 'I') in this exit. The system will reject the order in the case of a termination message. The user can no longer correct the data here. The system corrects the order with the incorrect data in the case of an information message, and the user can then correct the order. Dialog response is not unique for all other message types, and can depend on the last function executed before the order was saved.

The PAR_RJ* tables contain sales documents in the form in which they are to be saved to the database.

The PAR_YJ* tables contain sales documents in their current form in the database.
