EXIT_SAPLKEAB_004 - CO-PA Valuation: Flexible Assignment Costing Key

Functionality
In strategy maintenance for the "flexible assignment of costing keys", you can create your own user-defined steps of the "enhancement" type. In the "EXIT_SAPLKEAB_004" component of the SAP enhancement "COPA0002", you store the coding for the individual steps.
In the program coding, you can supply the target fields that you specified when defining the step. As a basis for this, you can use the values of all the source fields that you selected when defining the step.
Example
You find sample coding for operating concern "S001" in the program 'RKE_EXIT_SAPLKEAB_004_DEMO'. You can use this sample coding as a reference point for how to structure you own user exits in the function module "EXIT_SAPLKEAB_004".
It shows you how you can jump to steps that you have created to function as operating concerns, points of valuation, record type, and plan version.
In the form "exit_s001_01_f_0001", you are shown how you can determine the
valuation class in conjunction with the CO-PA characteristics "Material" and "Plant", and then how you can copy it to the variable
"USERTEMP1". The variable "USERTEMP1" containing
the valuation class can be used as a source field for assignment rules in subsequent steps. In this
way, you can assign costing keys on the basis of the valuation class without the valuation class having to be a independent characteristic in CO-PA.
