Functionality
This function module enables you to prevent the procedure defined for the automatic creation of medical records in your medical record management system from being executed in relation to a particular admission, transfer or outpatient visit. As a result, you can prevent a medical record from being created in special cases.
Using the data of the current movement (MOVEMENT_DATA), you can set the export parameter CREATE_MEDICAL_RECORD to OFF, if you want to prevent a medical record from being created. If a medical record is to be created, you must set CREATE_MEDICAL_RECORD to O. However, the system only creates the medical record automatically if the option enabling the automatic creation of a medical record is selected for the organizational unit of the current movement in Customizing for IS-H.
Example
If you want, for example, the system to automatically create a medical record for the mother of a newborn, without creating a medical record for the newborn itself, you can use the admission type 'healthy newborn' to prevent a medical record from being automatically created.
Notes
It is only expedient to use this module if you selected the Create auto. at adm./trans. option in the Section Set OU-Related Parameters of Medical Record Management of the IS-H Implementation Guide.
