Functionality

Import Material Requisitions by Bar Code

You should raise the exception NOT_ACTIVE if the enhancement is not possible on the workstation, in other words, if a bar code reader is not connected to the workstation.

Example

The enhancement can be used as follows:

  • Call the bar code reader using the function module WS_EXECUTE.
  • The bar code reader stores the bar code in a file on the presentation server.
  • The bar codes are then imported using READ DATASET, and transferred into the table SS_REQUISITIONS.
