Functionality

This user exit lets you change the way data is updated in Profit Center Accounting.

This exit is used when transferring plan data from Controlling.

Data from CO is transferred via the following table parameters:
T_COBK: Document header
T_COEP; Document lines
T_COIOB: Objects for the object numbers
T_LEDGER: Control information

Each time you call up this user exit, you can transfer several CO documents edited using the process, along with their document headers (table T_COBK).

Notes

Note that this function module gives you a wide range of possibilities for changing Profit Center Accounting documents. The changes which you make here will only take effect in Profit Center Accounting, and will not affect other Accounting documents.

You should be very careful when making changes. This is necessary to ensure that data is updated consistently in EC-PCA.

You should pay particular attention in the case of customer modifications, as these differ to the SAP standard in the way that data is updated.

If you use this exit wrongly, leading to inconsistencies in the data, you are responsible, as the system does not check your changes once you have called up the function module.

Further information

Using the transaction for enhancements (CMOD), you can create an enhancement project and maintain the function exit.

The SAP enhancement which you use for this is PCA00001.

For information about how to maintain customer modifications, see the extended help for transaction CMOD.
