EXIT_SAPLQSMT_022 - Customer Enhancement: Post IDocs (SaveReplica BAPI Inspection Method)

Functionality

You can use this customer enhancement to manage additional data (for example, customer-specific data) in the interface for the SaveReplica BAPI of the inspection method ("BAPI_QSMT_SAVEREPLICA").

The customer enhancement is accessed in the function module "BAPI_QSMT_SAVEREPLICA". This function module is used within the ALE distribution of inspection methods and performs the reading of incoming IDocs (data containers that are required during the ALE distribution).

Since you cannot change the interface of a BAPI after it has been released, an additional parameter "EXTENSION1" of parameter type "BAPIEXTC" for BAPI "BAPI_QSMT_SAVEREPLICA" is added. This parameter is not required in the standard, but it can manage additional data. By using the parameter "EXTENSION1" and this customer enhancement, you can enhance, modify, or adapt the interface to certain requirements without changes.

"EXTENSION1" is transferred as a table and can both export and import data.

Changes to the tables T_INSP_METHOD, T_SHORTTEXTTAB, and T_LONGTEXTTAB are ignored within the function module EXIT_SAPLQSMT_012.
