Functionality

This function module is used to make your own calculation as an alternative to the forecast options contained in R/3.

In transfer parameter PI_ITEM a replenishment item (customer/ material) is passed on with all the relevant information. The results of the requirements calculation are expected in field PE_RESULT.

Example

You can use the SAP forecast functions as a reference. This is implemented in form routine SALES_FORECAST in function group WRPL.

Notes

Important: Export parameter PE_USER_EXIT_USED must be set to 'X' ! Otherwise the forecast value passed on in PE_RESULT is ignored and the value calculated by R/3 is used.
