Functionality

You can access this function module while creating the kanban board.

Using the structure PKKBZ you can change data or display your own data in the kanban board. The following fields are available in the structure PKKBZ (the fields are only filled with values and are also only displayed in the kanban board if you have selected this yourself in Customizing for the kanban board or in the kanban board user-specific settings):

PKNUM (control cycle number)

You cannot change this field as the only field in the structure, as it is a key field for a control cycle. This field gives the unique reference to a control cycle.

PKURG1 (priority with tracking limit 'maximum empty')

In this field the priority of a control cycle, which has already been calculated, is displayed with tracking limit 'maximum empty'. If you change the priority, this does not have any influence on the traffic light display (see below). If you sort the control cycles according to priority, by changing the priority you can also change the sequence of control cycles in the the kanban board.

PKURG2 (priority without tracking limit 'maximum empty')

In this field the priority of a control cycle, which has already been calculated, is displayed without limit 'maximum empty'. If you change the priority, this does not have any influence on the traffic light display (see below). If you sort the control cycles according to priority, by changing the priority you can also change the sequence of control cycles in the the kanban board.

PKUSER1 and PKUSER2

You can fill this field individually with up to 80 characters for each control cycle.

PKREST (control cycle replenishment strategy)

In this field the control cycle replenishment strategy is displayed.

PKICON (signal display in kanban board)

If the number of empty kanbans is smaller or equal to the tracking limit of the control cycle, this field is filled with the value B1. If the number of empty kanbans exceeds the tracking limit, then this field is filled with the value B2. Then, in the last column of the kanban board a red traffic light is displayed. Empty includes all kanbans with the status WAIT, EMPTY, IN PROCESS and IN TRANSPORT. If, for example, you already want to display the red traffic light when the number of empty containers is equal to the tracking limit, then you can change the values for each control cycle correspondingly. Beforehand you must determine the number of empty containers per control cycle. The kanbans are transferred to the function module by table IT_PKPS. The kanban status is saved there in data element PKBST. For the values of this data element see domain PKBST. You can also display other or additional raphics. To do so you must make changes in Customizing for the GANTT chart, for which detailed knowledge is necessary.

You can change the sequence of the table entries, however, this has no influence on the sequence of the control cycles in the kanban board. For the sequence of control cycles in the kanban board the user-specific or Customizing settings are relevant.
