Functionality

This module is called up in the transactions for creating or changing a certificate profile, if you trigger the function code +US3 in the "Extras" menu.
It allows you to enter characteristics in the certificate profile.

You use the header data for the certificate profile and the activity category for the transaction as input parameters.
The transferred tables for the materials and the already existing characteristics for the certificate profile are protected in the program that is called up, and as a result they cannot be changed.
The table for the new characteristics is considered an output parameter. The characteristics, which are specified in the table, are copied to the certificate profile. They are added below the existing characteristics if this is possible.

Note the following points in particular:

  • You need special authorization to include master inspection characteristics, if an authorization group is entered in the master inspection characteristics.
  • If you enter a unit of measurement, this must be converted into the unit of measurement for the master record (master inspection characteristic or class characteristic).
  • If you enter a value (for example, Z001) in the field text element (T_CHARACT_NEW_TAB-TEXT_ELEM), this must appear in the form (I_CERT_PROFILE-TDFORM) that is used (for example, CHAR_Z001).
