Functionality

This module is used only as an example for the interface and design of search help exits insearch helps.

All the interface parameters defined here are mandatory for a function module that is to be used as a search help exit, because the caller of the module does not know which parameters are really used internally.

A search help exit is called at severaltimepoints during the F4 process flow. The respective step of the process flow is supplied in the CALLCONTROL-STEP. If the module wants to make only a few modifications before the step, the CALLCONTROL-STEP should remain unchanged.

If the module takes on the step completely, however, the following step must be returned in the CALLCONTROL-STEP.

The module must respond to all unknown steps or ones that it does not want to handle with an immediate EXIT.
