FINS_CFIN_CO_OBJECT_SIMULATE - Simulation Interface for Cost Object Replication

Functionality

You can use this function module to simulate for create assignments between source cost objects and central cost objects. For each source cost object, if there is already an existing central cost object with a corresponding characteristics value, the system adds the assignment to the database table FINS_CFINT_ASSIG. Otherwise, the system creates a new central cost object based on the configuration and adds the assignment relationship to database table FINS_CFINT_ASSIG.

The following cost objects are supported:

• Internal order

• Production order

• Product cost collector

• Maintenance order

• Quality management order

As these cost objects are stored in the database tables AUFK, AFKO, AFPO, and CKMLMV013, when you enter data for the source cost object you must follow the same format as used for all entries in these tables. The system extracts the source characteristic values from the entries in these tables and the characteristic metadata and uses these source characteristic values to determine a suitable scenario and central cost object.

The import parameter IV_LOCAL_LOGSYS is the source logical system name that should be provided by the consumer of this function module.

The function module resides in the software component SAP_FIN, in the package FINS_CFIN_CO.
