FI_PAYMEDIUM_SAMPLE_05 - Payment Medium: Interface 05 - Fill Additional Free Format Fields

Functionality

The FP_PAYMEDIUM_SAMPLE_05 function module is a template for an event module in interface 05 for creating payment media using the generic payment medium program in the Payment Medium Workbench.

The additional reference fields that are relevant to the format can be filled for event 05 in the payment data, so that they can be used for creating the payment media in events 20, 30 and 40, or for generating the note to payee (Customizing for Note to Payee).

The ES_FPAYHX export structure is used for this. The payment data can be used from the I_FPAYH import structure and the corresponding customizing from the I_FPAYHX import structure. These structures can also be used in the customizing for the note to payee. The import parameter I_PAYMEDIUM specifies whether the payment medium ('X') or the note to payee (' ') is being generated.

In the formats in the SAP Standard System, event 05 can be enhanced with a customer function module for event 06.
