FKK_BIX_RATING_EVENT_30_SD - Rating Event 30: Valuate Consumption Items in SD

Functionality

Consumption items are rated in a function module at rating event 30.

The items to be rated are transferred on the interface in the import parameter IT_RATING_ITEMS. Depending on use of the aggregation rules, these items contains the individual consumption items or aggregates of consumption items.

Rated rating items are expected to be returned in export parameter ET_RATED_ITEMS. These items form the basis for the creation of the billable items and the transfer of the relevant consumption items with the status ‘rated’.

If you do not want to use a module provided by SAP in this event, implement your own rating as follows:

Copy the items transferred in the table IT_RATING_ITEMS to the table ET_RATED_ITEMS.

Provided that billable items are to be created for this items from the standard program, you can select this items in the field CREATE_BIT and enrich them with the required valuation information such as BIT_AMOUNT and BIT_CURR as well as the attributes for tax determination. In this case, you may not change the consumption item ID for the item to be rated. If you do not assign a value for the source transaction, the value is automatically generated by the standard program.

If you wish to create several billable items for a rating item that is to be rated, please copy the rating item concerned from IT_RATING_ITEMS to the table of the rated items multiple times and enrich these items accordingly. If you want to assign a value to the source transaction in the module, the source transaction has to be unique according to the consumption item ID.

Notes

You can enrich the rating items with attributes of the billable items in rating event 20 or using posting area 8175, which are processed before this event is called.

The function module FKK_BIX_RATING_EVENT_30_SAPCC has been provided for the valuation of function modules in SAP Convergent Charging.
