Functionality

This function module called in Event 0613, determines if payments made through Direct Debit have reached ceiling limit for the period. This function module is relevant only for India.

The function module checks if the Amount payable by the customer is higher than the ceiling limit for a Direct Debit transfer, for the selected period.

• If the amount payable is less than the ceiling limit for Direct debit, the function module permits the system to process a direct debit transaction for the amount payable by the customer.

• If the amount payable exceeds the ceiling limit for direct debit, the function module identifies if Full or None payment option is in an active or inactive state. The system permits partial payment of Direct Debit only when the Full or None payment is inactive. No payment processing takes place when the Full or None payment option is active. You can maintain the Full or None payments option in the IMG Define Direct Debit Payment Options for Company Code.
