Functionality

Event 1724 is processed during the extraction of payment data to the BW system. The system calls the module once for each data package that is sent to the BW system. In this event, you can add additional data to the data determined in the standard SAP system.

Example

The system extracts some payments without a company code being entered. This situation arises, for example, when the total amount of a payment is not explained by the total of the new open items (on account), the amounts in clarification, and clearings. Although the affected payment documents contain corresponding G/L items (for example, for a clearing within tolerance limits or a transfer according to short account assignment), the system does not determine a company code for these parts of payments. In this event, you can add the company code for parts of payments like these. You can derive the company code, for example, from the payment lot item.
