Functionality

With this BAdI you can determine the interest key for an item. This key is in the line item but may be determined from a different place also.

If no interest key has been entered in an item, the system checks whether there is one in the contract account. If there is no interest key in either place, no interest can be calculated on the item. In other words, the item is blocked from interest calculation, even if there is no interest blocking reason in the item.

If a debit item is dunned and the interest calculation on this debit item is called from dunning, the interest key defined for the dunning level or the contract account or the key entered manually in the item appears in the item when this BAdI is processed.

Interest key determination can take place in different application areas so that there is always an event available. In addition, each customer can have a different kind of interest key determination by using their own function modules.
