Scope of Functions

This Public Sector-specific function module is called for event 1017.

The basic functions for the event are listed in the Documentation for the Sample Function Module.

In the existing specification, if the following fields are blank, default values for them are taken from posting area PD05:

• Authorization group

• Dunning procedure

• Interest key

In order that the module can be executed, you must not use a template (so no reference should be made to any existing contract account). If a template exists, default values will not be offered, instead, the values from the template will be used.

The field status of the default fields listed above is not subject to query.

Notes on programming

If more than one function module uses this event, you must take care that default values already exist in structures Z_FKKVK and Z_FKKVKP when the function module is called up. This can result in a conflict if two function modules of the event (1017) try to fill the same field of the structure with different values. The function modules should either stop such a conflict or you should define your function modules in the system giving them an order of priority so that modules with a high priority override those with a lower priority.
