FMCA_SAMPLE_P280 - Amendment: Tax Return Merge Proposal

Functionality

The function module called for event P280 is processed to create the form superseding proposal when two tax returns are to be merged. If you do not create your own module, the program implements the logic delivered in function module FMCA_EVENT_P280.

Importing parameters of this event are amended tax return (source) and original tax return (target). This includes corresponding forms in source and target return as well as form data. Result of this event is the superseding proposal. Depending on the situation, the proposal contains the following information:

• If the forms in the amended tax return (source) are to be added to the original tax return (target), the fields RETURN_ID and FORM_ID contain the forms from the amended tax return. Fields SUPERSCEDING_RETURN_ID and SUPERSCEDING_FORM_ID remain initial.

• Only applicable for ISR forms: If the forms in the amended tax return (source) amend forms in the original tax return (target), fields RETURN_ID and FORM_ID contain the forms from the original tax return. Fields SUPERSCEDING_RETURN_ID and SUPERSCEDING_FORM_ID contain the forms from the amended tax return.

If error messages occur, they are logged in exporting parameter ET_MESSAGE.
