Functionality

The function module in the industry-specific component Public Sector Contract Accounting called with event P580 can be used to define customer-specific checks that prevent contract objects being created automatically in the background (= 'Generate').

If the contract object entered does not yet exist, contract objects can be created when posting contract accounting documents for example. In addition to this, more records on contract account data can be attached to an existing contract object, provided that the contract object is not assigned to the business partner or contract account category in the current document.

Notes

Note that the automatic creation of contract objects can also be outsourced using authorization object F_PSOB_VGT with activity '64' (= 'Generate').
