Functionality

This function module is used in conjunction with a BAdI implementation to allow non-standard IDOC segment data pertaining to vendors to be included in the batch input process. It is used to move non-standard IDOC segment data from the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) into the table used during the batch input process.

Example

A vendor is being created or updated using the appropriate CCR interface program (either RFFMCCRVENDORCREATE or RFFMCCRVENDORUPDATE). During the batch input process, the batch input structure is intercepted by the BAdI method IF_EX_VENDOR_ADD_DATA_BI-FILL_BI_TABLE_WITH_OWN_SEGMENT. In the default implementation provided by SAP, this method calls the function module FMFG_FILL_BITBL_WITH_OWNSGMNT, which includes data from the non-standard segment E1LFA1B in the batch input structure. The non- standard IDOC segment was previously identified and stored in memory by the BAdI method IF_EX_VENDOR_ADD_DATA_BI-PASS_NON_STANDARD_SEGMENT.
