Functionality

This function module receives order proposal headers OP_HEADER_IF and order proposal items OP_ITEM_IF and processes them in two different ways according to the import parameter is_control-2step_proc:

1),,The creation of purchase order out of order proposals is done in two steps (is_control-2step_proc is ticked):

If the usage of buffer tables is activated in the order inbound customizing settings, the function module stores the received order proposal headers and items in the database buffer tables FRE_BIF_OPH_IN and FRE_BIF_OPI_IN (No purchase orders will be created). Optionally the data will be written into files if the file handling is activated for order inbound in customizing view of the bsaic settings for data transfer.

2),,The creation of purchase order out of order proposals is done directly (is_control-2step_proc is NOT ticked):

The function module creates purchase orders out of the order proposal headers OP_HEADER_IF and items OP_ITEM_IF. If an order proposal header shall be splitted according to transport units (field TU-SPLIT ticked) a purchase order will be created for each transport unit within this order proposal. By using the method create_submi of BAdI FRE_ORD_IN_SUBMI you have the possibility to create a collective number in that way that each purchase order that belongs to one order proposal header will have the same collective number (EKKO-SUBMI).
